The next Xbox console should not be made by Jason Ronald, designer of the Xbox Series According to what Nick Baker reported in the XboxEra podcast shared on X (Twitter), the task of designing the new Microsoft console has been entrusted after 20 years to the team that deals with Surface devices.
At the moment, it is only a rumor but the indiscretion is reliable given that Baker managed to anticipate the entire State of Play line-up a few days ago. Furthermore, the famous leaker revealed how he received confirmation from two different sources of Jason Ronald’s lack of involvement in the new Xbox console. However, Baker said he was quite perplexed about it.
According to some rumors, Microsoft would be working on a next-generation Xbox console to launch by 2026 and on a Steam Deck-style portable console. The Redmond-based company seems to have canceled some projects related to Xbox Series

With a short press release on X, the publisher itself revealed the official date and time to announce everything. Recently, Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, he would have defined the latest revenues coming from the Xbox section as ‘record high’, that is, as high as ever.
