Sonic starred in two platform games last year. In addition to Sonic Superstars, its 2D platform game, players of Apple Arcade on iOS, macOS and tvOS they were able to play Sonic Dream Team.
This game was not developed by Sonic Team, but by Hardlight, an English subsidiary of Sega focused on mobile games, such as Sonic Jump, Sonic Dush or Sonic Racing.
But it was a surprise due to its great quality, especially due to the irregular career that Sonic has had in the games. 3D platforms. And starting today, it gets even better with a free content update.
Sonic Dream Team’s first content update
Sonic Dream Team receives an update with new content, which is completely free. Perhaps the most interesting are the eight new boss missionsfor those more expert players.
But they also add Time Trials (time trial challenges). Now you can set the best finishing time for each act and record the results on online leaderboards, to brag about your times.
In fact, ranks have been added to each act for those who want to complete them as speedruns.
Lastly, some of the bosses have been updated: the famous Dr. Crabulous, the Factory Foremen, and the Guardian Hunter have all been updated with some new moves to keep players on their toes during battle.
All this, in Sonic Dream Teama 3D platform game with an original artistic design (the truth is, it seems better to us than Sonic Superstars) and that received great marks from the press (average score of 75) and even better marks from users, who gave it an 8.5 .
This Sonic Dream Team update is described as the first, so there will be more, and it’s free. But remember that the game is only available for iPhone, iPad or Mac through the Apple Arcade subscription, it can’t even be purchased separately.
