The first gameplay improvements were announced in a preview for patch 6 for Baldur’s Gate 3.
Larian Studios is working on the next patch for Baldur’s Gate 3. There’s no word yet on when Patch 6 will be released for Xbox, PlayStation and PC, but there’s a preview of what’s included.
Patch 6 will include various gameplay improvements for the role-playing game and address bugs addressed by players.
Also enjoy these improvements:
To dismiss party members, you no longer have to run back and forth between them. You can now dismiss a recruited companion from your group while talking to the companion you want to replace with him. Shield Bash and Rebuke of the Mighty have been corrected, meaning your passives should now correctly trigger saves. Auto-triggered dialogues will now try to prioritize your avatar as the main conversation partner so that your party members no longer steal the spotlight.
The full patch notes will be available upon release. Larian already points out that the update will be 21 GB in size. In addition, 150 GB of free storage space is required on PC and Steamdeck.
