Players with Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Core subscriptions can play 4 titles for free this weekend, from February 15 to 18, as part of the Free Play Days promotion. However, none of them are included in the Game Pass subscription, which gives players the opportunity to try out new games.
The main game of this week as part of Free Play Days is the cooperative zombie shooter Dead Island 2. The game was released in April 2023, 9 years after its first announcement at E3. The development of the project was restarted many times, and as a result, the developers from Dambuster Studios managed to create a pretty good cooperative shooter, which now has 75 points out of 100 on Opencritic. Players can try it out during Free Play Days, and then buy it with a 40% discount in the Microsoft Store.
In addition to Dead Island 2, Code Vein, Warstride Challenges, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 are also being offered as part of Free Play Days this week.
