It’s been almost a week since the release of Helldivers 2, a madness of shooting and explosions developed by Arrowhead Game Studios. Its landing on PS5 and PC has been celebrated by many players… although not without some complaints. Although the video game is fun and addictive, it has not stopped causing problems on its servers.
These problems have translated into unpleasant experiences in Helldivers 2: From missions that cannot be completed, to altering progress and rewards, to the inability to matchmake. The PS5 platform has been the most affected by this last aspect, with some days when it was very difficult to join other players.
Today, February 14, those responsible for it have released a new update focused on solving the pairing problem. Yesterday there was another. The patch notes on Steam detail the two points focused on this: “Resolve connectivity and disconnection issues” and “Improved matchmaking experience and chance of success.”
This means that the matchmaking should work correctly and that disconnections should no longer occur during games. The update also solves problems with crashes when starting, blocks due to having too many friends or during the operation status summary, and others related to extractions after completing missions.
