Mark Zuckerberg says that Meta is nothing behind Apple, but the Vision Pro is being a huge success. Apparently, the brand will have more than 1000 applications made just to adapt to Apple’s new technology. This is said by the company’s vice president of marketing, Greg Joswiak, as reported by the Tech Crunch news portal.
To have an element of comparison of the product’s success, Apple two weeks ago said that around 600 apps would be available. However, the reception towards the Vision Pro has sparked interest in associating as many apps as possible with the device and the number promises to continue to increase.
The apps to be developed are paid

When developing these applications, one might think that, given the high price of the Apple Vision Pro, the apps would be aimed at niches with greater purchasing power. However, for the benefit of the consumer, the reality is not quite like that. As Tech Crunch points out, the data tells us that apps are being developed to be paid, instead of operating for free or freemium.
The reach of the Apple Vision Pro is unquestionable, especially because it has the capacity to run more than 1.5 million iOS and iPad apps. Still, the maximum potential of the device is not always achieved. According to the same source of information, the spatial applications created for headphones are those that make the most of the Apple Vision Pro’s resources.
Disney+, TikTok and more are betting on Apple Vision Pro
In this batch, we included a lot of big names. Among them: Disney+, ESPN, MLB, PGA Tour, Max, Discovery+, Amazon Prime Video, Paramount+, Peacock, Pluto TV, Tubi, Fubo, Crunchyroll, Red Bull TV, IMAX, TikTok and MUBI.
That said, although many competitors such as Meta, Spotify, Microsoft, among many others, have expressed displeasure against Apple’s plans, app creators only see positive aspects and great potential in Apple, which explains the strong bet on the brand’s new product.
