After confirming that the new Nothing Phone (2a) will be launched on March 5th, the company also confirmed that the model will not be available in all markets.
In the United States of America, users will not be able to purchase the new product available on retail platforms. Only developers working on the Glyph Developer Kit will have access to the smartphone.
There is no specific information about availability in Portugal
For now, the North American market is the only one that will not have access to Nothing’s new smartphone. Similar, in fact, to what already happened with the brand’s first model, Nothing Phone (1).
For now, there is still no specific information about the availability of the Nothing Phone (2a) in Portugal. It is assumed that the model can be purchased by Portuguese users, as there is no data to indicate otherwise.
Expected Specifications on Nothing Phone (2a)
Although it has confirmed the launch date through its social networks, Nothing remains silent regarding the specifications of the new model. But several rumors have already come forward with what we can expect to see.
Rumor has it that the Nothing Phone (2a) will be equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC processor. This chip has two ARM Cortex-A715 cores at 2.8 GHz and six ARM Cortex-A510 cores at 2 GHz. This configuration is suitable for the use of moderate applications and games.
The model is also expected to be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage capacity.
It runs Nothing OS 2.5, based on the Android 14 operating system, and will have a 5000 mAh battery with support for 45 watt fast charging.
Furthermore, it will also feature a dual rear camera configuration, with the primary and ultra-wide-angle sensors providing a resolution of 50 megapixels.
