As noted the day before, the market capitalizations of NVIDIA, Amazon and Alphabet turned out to be not so far from each other, and for the first of them this figure is steadily growing in anticipation of the publication of quarterly reports, which will be released next week. The dynamics of stock quotes for Amazon and Alphabet are not so clear, so NVIDIA still managed to outperform the first largest capitalization.
Let us remember that the other day NVIDIA took the lead during the main trading session, but by the end of it Amazon still found itself in a higher position. Now, as CNBC explains, NVIDIA has established itself at the capitalization mark of $1.78 trillion with a price per share of $721.28. Considering that Amazon’s capitalization does not exceed $1.75 trillion, then NVIDIA surpasses it with some margin. In fact, NVIDIA is not so far from the next competitor in the list of the largest companies on the American stock market – Alphabet lost 1.62% in value the day before and is now limited to a capitalization of $1.81 trillion. In fact, NVIDIA’s capitalization is now equidistant from Amazon and Alphabet, allowing the first company to rank fifth in terms of capitalization in the world and fourth in the United States.
In turn, Alphabet is second only to Apple and Microsoft in terms of this indicator in the US stock market, and if we consider all public companies in the world, the oil company Saudi Arabian Oil Group wedges into third place. UBS analysts believe that NVIDIA shares could rise in price to $850. Waiting times for computational accelerators ordered from NVIDIA now reach three or four months, so new customers will be able to receive them no earlier than the second half of the year, and this indicates continued high demand and creates the preconditions for further growth of the company’s revenue. Experts expect that in the last quarter, out of $23 billion of NVIDIA’s total revenue, the server segment accounted for at least $19.5 billion, and in the current quarter, the company’s total revenue will grow to $25 billion, according to the most conservative estimates.
