In recent days the fact that has made some news Palworld has started to lose a good amount of playersdespite remaining one of the most used games ever on Steam, and the Pocketpair development team wanted to intervene on the subject with a very particular approach, maintaining that abandonment is normalthat the team still loves these users and hopes that they will return for the second round.
Indeed, a drop in players is physiologicalconsidering that Palworld, despite the multiplayer additions, is not strictly an MMO but a largely single player experience, and moreover it is still in early access, with contents that are not yet complete.
Despite this decline, it still sold more than 12 million copies in just a few days and is still making records over 500,000 concurrent players on Steam, so talking about the collapse of Palworld is certainly out of place, but the issue still led to somewhat catastrophist titles, which pushed Pocketpair to intervene, in a rather peculiar way.

Palworld is still a work in progress
“This topic that is coming out about Palworld losing several percentages of its user base is a bit futile, but it is probably also a good opportunity to make ourselves heard and reassure all those who read beyond the simple title which is right to take a break from the game,” the development team reported through its community manager, “Bucky.”
“You shouldn’t feel guilty about this. Palworld, like many other games, is not in a position to release content in massive quantities on a weekly basis. New content will arrive and they’ll be great, but these things take a little time.”
Bucky also points out that there are many other interesting games out there: “Play lots of games, try different genres and check out the indie game library often for hidden gems,” advised Pocketpair’s community manager. “There are so many great games to play, you don’t have to feel guilty switching between them. ‘other. If you’re still playing Palworld, we love you, if you’re no longer playing, we love you anyway and hope you come back for round two when you’re ready.”
