The dark role-playing adventure Lies of P received patch 1.5.0.0, where the authors, apparently, accidentally removed the protection Denuvo from the game.
The patch itself is associated with the game’s crossover with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, where the creators added three themed items from Wo Long – new weapons, armor and a bandana.
In addition, Lies of P has received improvements in the Japanese translation, and players will be able to reload the leveling tree (P-Organ) at no additional cost when starting a new game.
The patch also fixed a number of various bugs related to gameplay and technical details – for example, players should no longer encounter random elevators or gaps through levels. Errors in some dialogues have also been corrected.
At the same time, the network noticed that the game’s Denuvo protection had disappeared, although the mention of this detail did not disappear on the adventure’s page on Steam. It is possible that the developers themselves accidentally removed Denuvo with the new patch – or did not openly announce the removal of the protection.
The authors have not yet officially commented on this move.
DLC and an upcoming sequel are currently being developed for Lies of P, and the latter, judging by the job description on the authors’ website, is being created in the engine Unreal Engine 5.
The release of a full-fledged second part may take place only in 2027, while the authors promise to show fans cool graphics and deep level design.
