The artificial intelligence features of the Galaxy S24 can even be found in certain Samsung headphones. Galaxy AI provides real-time translation, in order to understand what we are being told, in a language we do not know.

With the Galaxy S24, Samsung added Galaxy AI, a host of features based on artificial intelligence. Among them, there is real-time translation to understand what we are being told. A feature that arrives directly in certain pairs of wireless headphones from the brand.
Galaxy Buds get real-time translation
This Tuesday, February 13, all owners in India of Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and Galaxy Buds FE received an email from Samsung. He informs them that live translation and interpretation will be coming soon via an update to the headphones.

This is more precisely the Live Translate function, available on the Galaxy Phone application on the Galaxy S24. The latter allows you to download “language packs” in order to translate the words of your interlocutor during a call. The update to the headphones allows them to be used as a microphone during phone calls. In its email, Samsung describes how it works: “users speak directly into the microphone of the Buds headphones and their translated voice will now be available via the Galaxy S24 series, allowing an almost natural conversation between two people each holding a Galaxy series smartphone S24 and Galaxy Buds earphones, eliminating the need to reach for the phone and handle conversation translation.”
The pros and cons of Live Translate on Samsung headphones
This also works if you are wearing the headphones and hand your smartphone to the person you are talking to. What you say will be picked up by the earphones’ microphone and translated onto the screen of your Galaxy S24. The advantage is that no Internet connection is required in this case, whereas Live Translate requires one for phone calls. You just have to remember to download the diaper pack in advance.

As Android Central specifies, if for the moment the functionality is only available in India, it should arrive soon in other regions of the world. Furthermore, we know that Galaxy AI will be available on the Galaxy S23 this summer.
However, as Live Translate requires significant NPU performance, some models may not be able to perform this real-time translation.
What if Samsung was preparing the arrival of the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro?
Leaks have revealed that Samsung will release the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro in the second half of this year. Enough to synchronize their output with that of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. They would logically feature a dual speaker system in each earpiece, as well as active noise reduction.

However, they could have physical and non-touch buttons. One of the leaks about these headphones indicated that the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro would be the first to benefit.
