Xiaomi will most likely launch its “new” Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro at MWC 2024 this February. Why “new”? Well, these devices were already launched on the Chinese market in December 2023, and for that reason, they have lost much of their importance for the most die-hard enthusiasts… In short, they are no longer new!
However, the reality is that the Xiaomi 14 Pro has not been the Chinese giant’s true traditional top of the range for 2024 for some time now. That work is for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra!
A device that should be presented on February 25th, but unfortunately we still don’t know if it will only be launched in China, or will reach the global market. Xiaomi needs global launches as soon as possible… This could be an incredible start.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra is on the way and it will be like this!
Therefore, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is the true top of the range, and for that reason, it is where the Chinese giant is able to show what it can really do in the mobile world.
Having said all this, unfortunately we still don’t have real images of the new Ultra. However, we have extremely detailed renderings, which of course demonstrate a serious rival to the S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Looking at the image above, we can easily see that the gigantic rear camera module is back. However, it is surrounded by a leather finish (probably Vegan), to give it a different “feel” of use. Obviously, we have Leica branding in the middle of the camera module, as this is the most powerful smartphone for image capture that Xiaomi has ever launched on the market.
In short, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be a serious top of the range, with everything you could want in a smartphone.
This includes a 1-inch sensor, a Snadragon 8 Gen3, lots of memory, lots of storage, and of course, a giant battery. The price remains to be seen… But, by now, Xiaomi has already realized that it cannot exaggerate.
