Many netizens took the actress’s statement with irony, given the devastating ratings of the new superhero film Sony.
The tape has already “caught up” Morbius on Rotten Tomatoes – both films received 15% from critics. On Metacritic it currently has a score of 30 from professional reviewers and a score of 1.8 from viewers.
The film is criticized for its poor and boring script, weak acting, low quality editing, lack of connection with the original sources and an excessive number of genre clichés.
Many viewers sarcastically noted that the film seemed to come straight from 2003. At the same time, Johnson herself managed to state that the script of the film was significantly altered after the start of production.
The plot of the film tells about nurse Cassandra Webb (Johnson), who suddenly begins to see the future. She is trying to stop a mysterious man in a spider suit, in which other girls with abilities must help her.
The film stars Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Emma Roberts and Adam Scott. S. J. Clarkson (“Descendants”) was in charge of directing.
