The game Metro Exodus from the Ukrainian studio 4A Games is five years old. It was released on February 15, 2019, received several additions, and on May 6, 2021, a large Enhanced Edition update appeared, which improved the graphics. In honor of the fifth anniversary, the developers shared sales figures. It turned out that to date, more than 10 million copies of Metro: Exodus have been sold on all platforms.
Also presented is a slide with the chronology of the appearance of games in the Metro series. The release of the official SDK for Metro: Exodus in 2023 and the future Metro Awakening for the PS VR2 virtual reality system are indicated here. This game looks like a spin-off, and the continuation of the main line is an unknown game with a vague release date. This is a clear confirmation that a new project is in development and its announcement may take place in the near future. Rumors about a new big game have been circulating for a long time, there was even information that the developers already have a working build where you can completely go through the storyline.
