A potential hint at a multiplatform release of Sea of Thieves now comes from the developer itself.
The pirate adventure Sea of Thieves may be heading to foreign waters. The game from developer Rare is one of the games mentioned that is rumored to be multiplatform and could be released on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
While this question may be officially answered in the Business Update Podcast this evening, Rare may have already given a hint themselves.
For Valentine’s Day yesterday, the Sea of Thieves account posted a rhyme on Twitter in which red, blue, green and white were appropriately named the colors of the platforms, Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
Fans therefore suspect that Sea of Thieves will actually be released on third-party platforms.
Rowboats are red,
And sometimes they’re blue,
Other times they’re green,
Occasionally they can be white…Wait, where were we going with this?
