MSI has started selling the MAG 341CQP QD-OLED curved 34-inch gaming monitor. The new product with an aspect ratio of 21:9 and support for UWQHD resolution (3440 × 1440 pixels) was presented at CES 2023 in early January.
Unlike the 32-inch MPG 321URX model, equipped with a flat screen based on Samsung’s third-generation QD-OLED panel, the MAG 341CQP uses a first-generation curved QD-OLED matrix with a radius of curvature of 1800R.
The display of the new product supports a refresh rate of 175 Hz and has a response time of 0.03 ms. The manufacturer claims brightness for the screen from 250 cd/m2 (typical) to 1000 cd/m2 (peak in HDR mode), as well as VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 and VESA ClearMR 9000 certification. The display has 99.3 percent coverage of the DCI-color space P3 and 139.1 percent sRGB coverage. The monitor supports adaptive image synchronization technology. The new product also claims to have MSI OLED Care 2.0 technology, which reduces the likelihood of screen burnout.
The MAG 341CQP QD-OLED equipment includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 2.0 Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-B, and one USB Type-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and the ability to transfer 15 W of power to external device. There is also a KVM switch and an ergonomic stand with the ability to adjust the height of the display above the table (variable height 100 mm), as well as its rotation and tilt angles.
In the US, the MAG 341CQP QD-OLED monitor is offered for $899.99, in the UK it is priced at 998.99 British pounds, and in the EU – €1299.
