A few days ago we wrote about a landmark event when Nvidia’s capitalization exceeded Amazon. This is a major change in a market where Amazon has long been one of the technology leaders. But now an even more significant event has occurred. At some point, Nvidia overtook Alphabet (Google). Now on the American stock market, Nvidia’s capitalization has fallen from $1.82 trillion to $1.79 trillion. But at the same time, the market value of other leaders changed, and now the capitalization of Alphabet (Google) barely exceeds 1.78 trillion. Nvidia is now behind only Apple and Microsoft as the third largest technology company.
Of course, slight market fluctuations and a temporary return to Alphabet’s position are possible in the near future. But the overall trend is that Nvidia is becoming the new industry giant and, amid the ongoing artificial intelligence boom, the green corporation will continue to increase its market value in the coming years. This is also a definite turning point. It seems that we are witnessing a new technological revolution that is based on AI, and the new market leaders will be those who led this revolution.
