Publisher Ubisoft released on February 16 the pirate adventure Skull and Bones, which had been in development since 2013 and was officially announced to the public in 2017. After that, the game was transferred many times, transferred to different studios, and now it is available to players. Publisher Ubisoft promises long-term support for the game, and is also actively conducting campaigns to attract players to Skull and Bones.
A few days before the release, Ubisoft held an open beta for Skull and Bones so that everyone could try out the pirate adventure. Now, simultaneously with the release, they announced the release of a free trial version of the game on all platforms, including Xbox consoles. Xbox Series X players | S can download an 8-hour free trial of Skull and Bones where all content is available. The only limitation is the amount of time you can spend in the game.
All progress from the free trial will carry over if the player later purchases Skull and Bones. Note that progress from the open beta version was also transferred to the final release. Thus, players who played the beta can now continue with their progress in the 8-hour trial for free.
Publisher Ubisoft has released the game Skull and Bones for sale at a price of $69.99. Yves Guillemot, head of Ubisoft, claims that this is an AAAA game, which is why they set the price for it.
