Publication of Smart Pikachu on the social network Weibo regarding the Xiaomi Mix Flip
According to the well-known leaker, the new clamshell smartphone may feature a dual rear camera configuration with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom. This is a very welcome new feature that raises the level of this model’s optical system.
Another good news is that the new Xiaomi Mix Flip will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest top processor, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
But leaker Smart Pikachu doesn’t stop there and goes on to say that the Xiaomi model will adopt a vertical and minimalist design in the style usually used by rival Huawei.
What we know about Xiaomi’s other foldable
But the Mix Flip won’t be Xiaomi’s only foldable novelty. The Chinese brand is also preparing the launch of the Mix Fold 4, a model with a design similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Fold.
According to rumors, this foldable will also include a 50-megapixel periscope sensor in its quad rear camera setup, as well as being powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
But in the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, the big news will be the integration of satellite communications and the presentation of an “extremely thin and light” design.
Other rumors also suggest that the brand has managed to significantly improve the usual crease on the screen. Or rather, it has made progress towards making it less noticeable to the naked eye.
Another good news is that some sources have also suggested that Xiaomi may launch the new Mix Fold 4 foldable globally.
