Lone developer Joseph Ng, aka PracticalNPC, has unveiled his first project, Memori, an arcade-adventure platformer. The first campaign launched on Kickstarter was successful, as the required funding was collected in just three hours. The campaign’s tally currently exceeds $12,000, although the goal was only $10,000.
Joseph’s game Memori was inspired by the famous platformer Celeste. In Memori, players will explore the unusual through the eyes of a cat and its owner. In this world, players will find challenging platform puzzles, searching for clues to understand what is happening, and deadly encounters that will allow the heroes to become even stronger.
In addition to the main goals, PracticalNPC has already announced possible additional goals for the project. If the campaign continues to attract investors, the game could introduce new designs for the cat and boy, as well as an additional chapter with unique gameplay mechanics, secret test rooms and a good selection of new bosses.
Memori doesn’t have a release date yet, but it should be out on Steam soon.
