Xbox Game Studios has announced several games for the future, but many of the company’s studios have yet to reveal any news about their projects. And now the famous insider NateTheHate has shared rumors regarding future games.
Commenting on social media, NateTheHate claims that Contraband, the latest co-op thief game from the makers of Just Cause, could be coming to Xbox later this year. Speaking about release dates for future projects, the insider claims that Microsoft plans to launch Playground Games’ latest Fable sometime in late 2025.
But the new Banjo-Kazooie is in the process of being finalized, which will allow it to increase its scale, which is why its release may be delayed. As for id Software, an insider claims that there is a high probability that their new game will be announced later this year. But as for the project itself, Nate only said that it would be a game based on an already known IP.
Nate concluded by saying that there’s a good chance we’ll see more announcements related to Halo and Gears in the second half of this year. In particular, he believes that The Coalition announcement should be inevitable, stating that “I would be surprised if 2024 goes by and we don’t see Gears 6.”
Apparently, Xbox gamers are in for a lot of interesting news. Just the other day, Microsoft announced a new event planned for June to share as much news as possible about its games.
