If there’s one thing I can’t understand about Xiaomi, it’s why everything has to come out in China first, with Europe having to wait 3 months, sometimes more, to get their hands on the same products, almost always at significantly higher prices.
Well… I understand… The scale of the Chinese market is quite impressive, with the region having 1.412 billion inhabitants. Being successful in China is obviously much more important for Xiaomi than being successful in Europe. However, if Xiaomi really wants to move to the next level, to beat Samsung and Apple, it must be a global brand.
However, obviously, to be a global brand, you have to launch globally. Well… We’re going to have a surprise in February!
Xiaomi 14 Ultra arrives in Portugal… Now! Good news!
Therefore, it seems that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will arrive in China first, yes… But this time the difference will only be 3 days, instead of 3 months. In other words, we will see the Xiaomi 14 Ultra arriving on the Chinese market on February 22nd, and then on the International market on February 25th (at MWC 2024).
In this way, Xiaomi will launch its entire range of devices at the same time in Europe, which of course means that the Pro model will lose some importance in these parts, in fact, there are even those who say that the Pro model will not even arrive in Europe in 2024.
However, this also means that we will finally see Xiaomi giving the weight and importance that the Ultra model deserves in the market.. Xiaomi will finally fight on equal terms with its rivals.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra. How is it going to be?
Well, it’s a serious top of the range, being based on the best components the mobile industry has to offer. We are therefore talking about a giant QHD+ screen with the ability to reach 120Hz or 144Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 SoC, a massive battery, a new generation Leica camera module, among many other things.
Now it’s time to find out the prices! How much could a Xiaomi 14 Ultra cost when the most desired devices on the market cost €1499 (S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max)?
