A little-known Russian blogger Plague Gaming, following the recent demonstration of the historical action role-playing game “Smoot” from Cyberia Nova, posted 28 minutes of gameplay of the expected game in 4K and at 60 frames/s.
Let us remember that “The Troubles” is based on the novel “Yuri Miloslavsky, or the Russians in 1612.” Miloslavsky participates in the Battle of Moscow and other important events, contributes to the end of the Time of Troubles and the unification of Muscovite Rus'.
In Friday’s video, blogger Alina Rin showed the first hour of “The Troubles”: from the introductory video and prologue in a snowy forest to the estate of boyar Timofey Kruchina-Shalonsky and Miloslavsky’s trip to Nizhny Novgorod.
A video with the mentioned 28 minutes of gameplay from a “more adequate piece” of the game “without Alina Rin” was provided to the Plague Gaming blogger by a source who wished to remain anonymous. The video below contains spoilers.
In the video published by Plague Gaming, the hero runs through forests and settlements, fights with slaves, rides a horse (instantly summoned) and participates in a battle with the story boss.
It is worth noting that the video clearly does not show the final version of “The Troubles”: missing animations, problems with AI, simplified visual effects and “constant crashes” (the video shows splices in these places).
The release of “The Troubles” is expected on April 4 exclusively on VK Play, where the game will be sold for 2,015 rubles (1,612 rubles for pre-order). In anticipation of the launch, a “free training version” will be released with the opportunity to walk around Moscow.
