Studio CEO Ghost Ship Games, who created Deep Rock Galactic and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, gave an interview. In it, he touched on the topic that the authors of the cooperative shooter about gnomes are not at all against seeing a film adaptation based on their universe, but there is one catch.
Developers simply don’t have time to work on a film adaptation – they can’t do everything at once. A number of production companies offered Ghost Ship Games to implement the project: filming and other aspects could be placed completely under their control. However, the studio director believes that such an approach to the matter would be absolutely wrong.
At the same time, Ghost Ship Games is doing well with other projects. The developers helped the authors of Dwarf Fortress add the tag of dwarven games to Steam, and also continue to update Deep Rock Galactic and shared interesting statistics for 2023.
And the recent new product in the form of Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor was released in early access and has already overtaken the original in the number of concurrent players on Steam. The shooter has earned high user reviews and comparisons with Vampire Survivors.
