PEOPLE magazine exclusively revealed the first images of the Borderlands movie, based on the Gearbox video game. In these we see Cate Blanchett as the Mermaid Lilith, Kevin Hart as Roland, Ariana Greenblatt as the crazy Tiny Tina, Florian Munteanu as Krieg (Tiny Tina's bodyguard), Jamie Lee Curtis as Tannis and Jack Black who voices Claptrap.
The plot will see Lilith searching for Atlas' (Edgar Ramírez) missing daughter on Pandora. Previously, Deadline reported that Blanchett she was cast as Lilith as early as May 2020, with the rest of the crew signing on the following year. Filming began in April 2021 in Hungary and concluded in June.

While we await the arrival of the film, fans of the video game saga can't wait for Gearbox to present the fourth chapter. For now we have no information on the matter, but a recent theory suggests that the fourth chapter is about to be announced.
Let's remember that Borderlands is a saga first person shooter open world in which we can obtain huge quantities of weapons, play cooperatively and evolve our character and his unique class abilities.
