Cult of the Lamb is a small success and the development team continues to update the video game with new content. More will come in the future and one of the possibilities is the multiplayer.
The information emerged during a OR (Ask Me Anything), organized via Reddit. Players have been requesting this option for some time, and the development team says they've gotten the message.
“[È] something we would like to do in the futureif possible, but right now we're focused on making the next update,” said art director James Pearmain. In response to another request for multiplayer, community manager Lorna P. added that it's “not out of the question.”
More player requests for Cult of the Lamb
Il mod support is another factor that came up during the Reddit AMA. However, the Cult of the Lamb team has no concrete plans for this at the moment, although they have talked about it and it is something that could come in the future. Of course, it's always possible that the authors' response is designed not to completely disappoint players and that it isn't something really taken into consideration.
We must also consider that at a certain point the team could decide to launch itself in force on a new game. When asked how much more time will be spent on Cult of the Lamb, the response was: “there's no set figure, we're having so much fun working on Cult of the Lamb it's hard to say.”
Il next update It doesn't have a release date, but given that Sins of the Flesh (or “sex update” if you prefer) arrived recently, it's believable that we'll have to wait a little longer. Furthermore, the authors would like to introduce other cross-overs like the one created with Don't Starve.
