A trio of hackers managed to hack PlayStation Portal. The first result of the hack was the launch of PPSSPP (a PlayStation Portable emulator) and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories on it. It was also noted that the Portal’s internal memory is similar to an SD card with a capacity of about 6 GB.
However, expect the hack to be released into the public domain in the near future. not worth it. Hackers have a lot of work to do, but the news has already become very popular. Because of this, full gameplay recordings may appear on the hacked PlayStation Portal this coming weekend.
Users believe that with hacking, the “useless thing” represented by Portal can become an interesting device. Some people think that a device designed exclusively for streaming games from a console will not be able to show decent results even with hacked firmware, but we will have to see all the capabilities of Portal in the future.
The PlayStation Portal itself will hit the market in the fall of 2023. The press greeted the device coolly. It has too few scenario options for use, and also cannot run games through cloud services.
