The so-called “Bedrock Edition” of the popular crafting game is currently running on the Nintendo Switch. Previously, it was not possible for on-the-go players to install additional content or add-ons – but that has now finally changed. As Mojang has announced, Switch players can now also install additional content within “Minecraft”.
The various game content can be downloaded from the official Minecraft Marketplace and integrated into the game. These include, among other things, new block variants, other enemies or monsters, recipes for new items or objects and much more. It is also possible to combine the different add-ons or DLC together so that there is no “either or” scenario. Some free DLCs such as “All the Wool” or “Another Furniture” are already available for download in the Switch version of the Minecraft Marketplace.
