The servers of the then-free MOBA shooter Gigantic went offline back in April 2018, and the Motiga studio that created the game was closed. However, in October last year, the well-known company Gearbox Software suddenly decided to revive the project and conducted a closed alpha test. Now the developers have made a full re-announcement, revealing all the details.
The new version will be called Gigantic: Rampage Edition and, most interestingly, will become a premium game. To access the project, you will first need to buy it for $19.99 (if the developers use regional Steam prices, then in Russia the game should cost 710 rubles). But in return we are promised a complete absence of microtransactions and the opportunity to obtain all the content through play.
The main features of Rampage Edition are as follows:
New Onslaught mode, offering fast and exciting battles. 2 new heroes (Roland and Karjir) in addition to the 23 old ones. 2 new maps (Picaro Bay and Paradise Island) in addition to the old ones. Personalization and progression of heroes. Cross-platform multiplayer support. New content after release.
Gigantic: Rampage Edition will be released in 2024 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S with cross-platform multiplayer support. However, on February 22, at 23:00 Moscow time, closed beta testing will take place on PC. You can submit a request through Steam.
