Studio Inflexion Gamesfounded by veterans BioWare, released its survival game Nightingale into early access on PC. The game is officially sold in Russia, but without the Russian language.
The peak online Nightingale on Steam has already reached 47,569 concurrent players. The user rating turned out to be “mixed” based on about 2 thousand reviews, 55% of which were positive.
Overall, Nightingale is described as a fairly enjoyable game, but not a revolutionary one with a number of different problems.
It praises the setting and atmosphere, decent acting, good optimization, and the ability to move around using an umbrella – the latter has already given rise to jokes about Mary Poppins. Users who left positive reviews remind that Nightingale is in early access and advise not to judge the project prematurely.
But the authors of negative reviews decided not to put up with the problems of the new product. Most often, they complain about the need to constantly connect to the Internet, which kills the very idea of playing alone and is hampered by poor technical performance. Meanwhile, the developers themselves have already announced scheduled server maintenance.
Some users also do not recommend purchasing Nightingale at this time – early access, according to them, turned out to be too early.
Nightingale is set in a Victorian fantasy setting. Players must travel alone or with friends through portals into beautiful and dangerous worlds with adventures and secrets.
