The “Elden Ring” expansion “Shadow of the Erdtree” has a date. The editions were also presented. One of them contains a 46 cm tall statue.
Two years after the launch of the successful FromSoftware game “Elden Ring”, the “Shadow of the Earth Tree” expansion has finally received a date. From June 21, 2024, players can jump into the fray.
It won't be cheap fun, as the entries activated in the PlayStation Store make clear. And a Collector's Edition is also coming onto the market.

Let's first come to the biggest chunk: The Collector's Edition of “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree” contains a 46 cm tall statue. It depicts “Messmer the Impaler”. On top of that there is a 40-page art book and the digital soundtrack. The extension is included as code. The price was not mentioned.
Update: The price is now available. For 249,99 Euro the expensive collective version goes into the shopping cart in the Bandai Namco store.

The individual download of “Shadow of the Erdtree” is impressive 39,99 Euro to book. Those who pre-order will receive the “Shadow of the Earth Tree” bonus emote.
Bandai Namco is also releasing a premium bundle 49,99 Euro costs and includes additional content. This includes the digital art book and the digital soundtrack.
Players who do not own “Elden Ring” can choose the “Shadow of the Erdtree Edition”, which 79,99 Euro costs and, in addition to the expansion, also includes the main game. Physical versions are also available in stores, but only for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The Shadow of the Earthtree expansion includes a new storyline that takes place in the Shadowland. Secrets, dangerous dungeons as well as new enemies, weapons and equipment await the players there.

Players can also stock up on merchandise: the helmet of “Messmer the Impaler” can be pre-ordered exclusively in the Bandai Namco Entertainment store. It comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity. Shipping will take place parallel to the release of the expansion.
