Every single game produced by ZeniMax, Activision Blizzard and Xbox Game Studios will land on Game Pass from day one. This is the objective of Xbox that the president of Microsoft's gaming division, Phil Spencer, reiterated when answering a question about Call of Duty during a recent interview. Within the same he also revealed that Xbox does not want to abandon physical copies of the games.
During the interview granted to Game File, Phil Spencer expressed himself in rather clear words: “Our goal is to ensure that the Our entire portfolio of games from ZeniMax, Activision Blizzard and Xbox Game Studios arrive on Game Pass, starting on day one“. Among these titles, therefore, Call of Duty is also included.
At the moment we don't know if already the next Call of Duty, due out in October, can land on Game Pass. However, it remains a question of time now because numerous titles should arrive on the famous subscription service in 2024.
Xbox Game Pass appears to be a sustainable service and will not arrive on PS5 and Nintendo according to Spencer. Meanwhile, the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard caused Xbox's revenues to soar from October to December 2023. And what do you think? Let us know, as always, below in the comments.
