EDGE magazine presents a new video game that they describe as a cross between Mario Kart and Schwarzenegger's film The Running Man: Deathsprint 66.
Advertising games through video game magazines, in print, is a rarity nowadays, but Edge Magazinethe prestigious British magazine, has obtained a great exclusive: the announcement of Deathsprint 66a game they describe as “Chased crossed with Mario Kart“.
Persecuted, as in The Running Man, the 1987 film by Arnold Schwarzenegger in which he plays a participant in a macabre reality show in which he risks his life.
It is a game of foot racesset in a dystopian future in which participants compete to entertain bloodthirsty audiences, as read in its press release.
Deathsprint 66, work of Sumo Digital and Secret Mode
Deathsprint 66 is a game Sumo Newcastlebelonging to Sumo Digital, who have worked on Call of Duty Vanguard or Hood: Outlaws and Legends, and is the result of a collaboration with the publisher Secret Mode.

The only thing we know is that its first trailer and images will be revealed at the spring Future Games Show event, which will be on March 21. For now, it's time to imagine what a video game would be like. The Running Manthe classic of Schwarzenegger (whose remake is close).
