The film is expected to be released in June 2025.
The Lionsgate film company has postponed the premiere of the film “Ballerina” by a year, Variety reports, citing sources. According to the publication, the John Wick spin-off will now be released on June 6, 2025.
Previously, the premiere of the film was planned for June 7, 2024. According to Variety's sources, an additional year was required for additional filming.
And here's another story
According to sources, director Chad Stahelski, who is involved in the John Wick universe, together with Ballerina director Len Wiseman, decided to finalize the action scenes. This is supposedly not about reshooting existing scenes, but about filming new ones.
Apparently, increasing the amount of action will not affect the plot of “Ballerina”. The film is still about a hitwoman (played by Ana de Armas) who was trained by gypsies and seeks revenge for the death of her family.
This is interesting
