The developers of Level Zero have made an important announcement. The game was initially announced as a multiplayer asymmetric horror game with survival elements. However, now the DogHowl Games studio has decided to completely change the genre and turn the project into an extraction shooter.
As studio representatives noted, throughout development they experimented with various game mechanics. As a result, they came to the conclusion that the combination of asymmetrical survival horror and extraction-shutar would provide a unique experience that was not currently available on the market. The authors believe that the fear of losing hard-earned loot after a failed evacuation attempt will only add to the horror.
Along with the change in the concept of the game, its name also changed – now the project will be called Level Zero: Extraction. You will be able to evaluate the updated version in the upcoming closed beta testing, which will take place from March 15 to March 18, 2024 on PC. You can apply for participation now through the Steam service by clicking on the green button that says “Request access.”
