This year's Computex computer show will kick off with a speech from AMD CEO Lisa Su. Her report is scheduled for the so-called “zero” day of the event, the third of June. The Computex 2024 exhibition itself will be held from June 4 to 7 and will primarily be dedicated to technologies from the field of artificial intelligence.
As part of Computex, computer hardware manufacturers often share details about upcoming products, so it’s safe to say that we can expect many interesting announcements from AMD. For example, at Computex 2022, among other things, Zen 4 processors for the AM5 platform were announced. Perhaps at the upcoming exhibition, AMD will present the first chips with Zen 5 architecture: desktop Granite Ridge and mobile Strix Point. Both families are scheduled for release this year.
More detailed information about the topics of the report by the head of AMD will become known as we approach the start date of Computex 2024.
