Developer Arrowhead Game Studios continues to work on its “Helldivers 2”. Another patch for the third-person shooter has been available since yesterday.
Said patch for “Helldivers 2” fixes some minor bugs. It also implements a new function that ensures that inactive players are automatically returned to the title screen after 15 minutes. The complete English patch notes can be read here.
In the sequel to the acclaimed top-down shooter from 2015, up to four eponymous Helldivers go into battle against the threat to Super Earth from alien invaders. From a third-person perspective, players use a variety of weapons and tactical equipment to hunt down their opponents.
“Helldivers 2” will also offer a crossplay function. This means that players of the PS5 version can play together with PC users – and vice versa. Community and teamwork are the main pillars of the game, so it was important to the team at Arrowhead Game Studios that people can come together regardless of the system.
“Helldivers 2” was released on February 8th for PS5 and PC.
