Actor Pedro Pascal is in the spotlight of Hollywood. After his outstanding participation in HBO's The Last of Us, Marvel selected him for the role of Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four. Additionally, he convinced Ridley Scott to give him a significant role in Gladiator 2.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Pascal revealed that, despite having participated in ambitious filming such as Game of Thrones or The Last of Usnone were as impressive as the sequel to the hit film from the beginning of the millennium.
“I've been part of big sets where the identity of the project, in a sense, is its size, and yet I've never been anywhere as impressive as Gladiator. [El director] Ridley [Scott] “It leaves very little to the imagination in the most old-fashioned sense.”
It is well known that Ridley Scott has always prioritized natural settings over CGI special effects. In fact, the director himself mentioned that CGI was barely used in his latest project, Napoleonstarring Joaquin Phoenix.
Pascal surprisingly joined the ambitious cast of this sequel several months ago, along with other stars. Although his role is not yet known, various rumors suggest that he will play a character from the upper class of the Roman Empire. Gladiator 2 is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on November 22, 2024.
