February 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. – The move to a three-day lockout has caused some trouble in Gnomeragan. After three blue posts and a lot of search work, the WoW developers were able to identify and fix the error.
If something doesn't work properly, World of Warcraft players usually notice it comparatively quickly – and this was the case this time too. More specifically, there was a problem with the new raid in Phase 2 of the Season of Discovery on the WoW Classic servers, namely Gnomeregan.
Some players noticed problems when switching to the new 3-day lockout – the current reset simply couldn't be carried out.

Blizzard reveals the solution to the problem
For players on the North American servers, Gnomeregan should have been reset by now and is now resetting every 2 days, similar to the Classic Era blackout times for Zul'Gurub, AQ20 and the Blackfathom Deeps in Season of Discovery, as explained in a previous Blue Post.
Reports of players raiding in NA on Monday and finding that they were banned from Gnomeregan, while players raiding on Sunday or earlier were able to enter the raid, had initially caused confusion.
Blizzard recognized the error relatively quickly and responded a statement, but I still couldn't fix the error quickly. It took a while and several blueposts before the developers not only found the bug, but fixed it.
The funny instructions if you encounter the bug: easy to log out and log in again. By now it should be so far that the bug no longer occurs and you can just enjoy the Gnomeregan raid on a regular basis.
Adjustments, updates and changes occur regularly in World of Warcraft (buy now), especially in Season of Discovery. Of course, there can always be bugs. Good to know that Blizzard responded quickly to players' calls this time.
