There are many players who are preparing to continue the adventure of Cloud Strife and associates in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth after having completed the previous chapter. But is there a way to use FF7 Remake saves in the PlayStation 5 exclusive?
The answer to this age-old question, unfortunately, is no. Square Enix has in fact decided not to allow players to transfer their save from Final Fantasy 7 Remake and, consequently, at the beginning of the second chapter of the trilogy you will not be able to have access to the characters of the level reached at the end of the remake and with their equipment. This is a choice made to guarantee everyone the right level of balance, which would have been impossible if some had had more powerful items than others.
This doesn't mean that having Final Fantasy 7 Remake saves stored in your memory is completely useless, as the development team has still thought of a way to reward the most loyal players. In fact, it will be possible to take advantage of a small advantage which consists in access to summons. Saving the base version of the game will grant you access to Leviathaninstead the progress of Episode Intermissions will allow you to also obtain Ramuh. In short, these are two rewards that will certainly please all fans of the Square Enix series who have completed the first chapter of the remake and its expansion.
