OneXPlayer, a One-Netbook company, has introduced its largest handheld PC, the OneXPlayer 2 Pro with 8.4″ display, in a new revision, now based on an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U (“Hawk Point”) and up to to 64 GiByte LPDDR5X-7500 and with its AMD Radeon 780M which is supposed to accelerate up to 2,560 × 1,600 pixels (“1600p”). XXL handheld with 8.4″ display and 1600p
The OneXPlayer 2 Pro is an XXL handheld and, unlike the Steam Deck and the Asus ROG Ally, which both use a 7″ or 7.2″ display, uses an 8.4″ LCD with a comparatively high Resolution in WQHD+ and a low refresh rate of 60 Hz. However, the large housing allows for a correspondingly larger battery with a nominal capacity of 67 Wh, which should particularly benefit the battery life of the handheld PC.
ONEXGPU: eGPU combines AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT and PCIe SSD for $599
OneXPlayer's ONEXGPU external graphics card (“eGPU”) combines an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT with a PCIe SSD for $599.
eGPUs such as the in-house OneXGPU with integrated AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT can also be connected via USB4 Type-C with 40 Gb/s and Oculink (“SFF-8612”) with 63 Gb/s. Windows 11 serves as the operating system for the handheld PC, which can offer up to 4 terabytes of storage space and transfer rates of 7 GB/s via a storage connection via PCIe 4.0.

In addition to the handheld PC, OneXPlayer also offers an extensive range of accessories, which includes various controllers and keyboards as well as skins and covers for the gaming handheld. The YouTube channel “Techfluencer” has already compared the OneXPlayer 2 Pro to the Steam Deck OLED and compared the two handheld PCs accordingly.
