Renault is one of the car brands that has been demonstrating that not all new products have to come with a high price. In fact, it has now introduced a new, more “basic” variant to its new 100% electric Scenic that guarantees an even more attractive price for the car.
The new Comfort Range variant of the Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric will cost around €40,000 or below!
Therefore, for the price reduction to happen, Renault uses a smaller battery pack of “only” 60 kWh. However, this still guarantees 418 km of range per charge, thanks to its 167 hp electric motor. This engine can propel this family SUV from 0-100 km/h in just 8.6 seconds.

Comfort variant will guarantee to be an even more wallet-friendly option!
Well, despite the cut in the battery pack and engine power, the truth is that the Comfort variant still maintains many features of the more expensive Techno, Esprit Alpine and Iconic versions.
The new 60 kWh pack retains charging speeds of up to 130 kW, which on paper guarantees charging from 15 to 80% in just 32 minutes.
According to a Renault spokesperson, the introduction of a new variant at a more affordable price is a logical decision that aims to put the new Scenic within the broad reach of more car buyers. After all, with interesting offers like the Tesla Model Y and the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the fight is currently on price.
In short, you should also know that the Comfort Range variant also comes equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, front and rear LED lights. A 12.3” screen for the instrument panel and a 12” panel for the infotainment system. Such as the ability to mirror your smartphone wirelessly, heated seats and steering wheel and the already common active safety that Renault implements in its offers, such as lane assist and emergency braking.
