In the MMORPG World of Warcraft Classic, a new epidemic of bots has broken out, flooding Stormwind. The video, posted by YouTuber Vixacious, shows hundreds of characters constantly moving between the dungeon and the enchantment merchant, creating chaos on the streets of the city.
The problem became especially noticeable after Blizzard reduced the number of layers in Stormwind, which led to a sharp increase in the number of players in the city at the same time. Bots farm the dungeon, obtaining items that they then sell for gold. Some of the gold is converted and sold directly to the merchant, while more valuable gold is auctioned.
Although Blizzard has tightened its measures against bots, their numbers continue to grow. This not only ruins the gameplay for legitimate players, but also undermines the game's economy.
