As part of the annual MWC exhibition taking place these days in Barcelona, Dell showed several updated Latitude and Precision business laptops with Intel Core Ultra processors, which are distinguished by the presence of AI coprocessors (NPUs) designed to speed up the execution of artificial intelligence tasks. In addition to this, all new Dell products are equipped with a separate Copilot key, which will allow you to quickly access Microsoft's AI assistant in Windows 11.
One of the most interesting new products is the 2-in-1 business tablet Latitude 7350 Detachable. The device is a tablet with a 13.3-inch IPS display supporting a resolution of 2880 × 1920 pixels and an aspect ratio of 3:2, which is equipped with a stand for convenient placement in a vertical position. The panel used provides a peak brightness of 500 cd/m² and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. There is an 8-megapixel front camera that can record video in HDR format. On the back of the case there is another 8-megapixel camera.
If necessary, the tablet can be combined with a special keyboard, turning the device into a compact laptop. The keyboard case has a built-in stylus that can be fully charged in just 30 seconds. “It's designed to deliver the versatility of a tablet and the performance of a laptop,” a Dell spokesperson said during a press call.
The Latitude 7350 Detachable will be available with Intel Core Ultra U5-134U vPro or Core Ultra U7-164U vPro processors. Users will be able to choose between versions with 8, 16 or 32 GB of LPDDR5x RAM soldered on the motherboard, as well as a solid-state drive with a capacity of up to 2 TB.
Support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 is implemented. The device has dimensions of 292.9 × 208 × 8.9 mm and weighs 0.83 kg. The power source is a 46.5 Wh battery. Sales of the Latitude 7350 Detachable will start in the second quarter, and the manufacturer will announce the retail price of the new product closer to the start of deliveries.
The rest of the Latitude lineup will be revealed on March 12th. We are talking about new versions of the Latitude 5000, 7000 and 9000 series devices. Nine new laptops are expected to appear, which, according to the manufacturer, will be the first commercial laptops with cameras that support HDR technology.
In addition, Dell will introduce five Precision 3000 and 5000 series laptops on March 12. These devices will provide workstation-level performance and will be aimed at professional users such as video content creators and animators. The company also plans to introduce the Precision 3680 Tower with 14th generation Intel Core desktop processors and NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada accelerators.
