Suffering from success, this sentence which often appears on the internet as a joke is a valid statement to explain what happened to Arrowhead and their flagship game – Helldivers 2. Coming as a multiplayer game that was not much talked about and considered before its release, it turned into a product popular, especially with the number of streamers and YouTubers who consistently jump in with it. But unfortunately, this enthusiasm is not facilitated by weak server capacity. The good news? After having problems for weeks, it started to resolve.
After weeks of its success being “tarnished” due to server problems, Arrowhead's success in increasing Helldivers 2's server capacity to the point of being able to facilitate 800,000 players at once finally bore sweet fruit. Helldivers 2 had a relatively smooth weekend with no technical issues yesterday, allowing many gamers to jump into the fray without long wait times and annoying server kicks. The good news? This situation also means that Helldivers 2's review rating on Steam, which was at the “Mixed” point, is now starting to gradually improve and is now at the “Mostly Positive” rating.
Helldivers 2's review rating also improved with fewer server problems at the end of last week.
The Arrowhead boss himself said that the problems with the Helldivers 2 server had finally started to subside, meaning the team could now start to focus on improving other things, as well as continuing their original plans. How about you? Having trouble jumping into Helldivers 2 at the end of last week?
