As part of the Siege Invitational 2024 in Brazil, Creative Director Alexander Karpazis commented on a possible successor to “Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege”. He made it clear that he considered this unnecessary.
According to Karpazis, a successor can be very costly and frustrating. In the end, he wouldn't even be able to give the fans everything they were hoping for. As a result, “Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege” would not need a sequel and could continue forever.
In “Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege” we choose our hero from numerous fighters and thus decide on the functions and abilities in the next siege. Thanks to a constantly growing selection of fighters and maps, strategies and combat events are becoming increasingly complex and regularly provide fresh challenges.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege was released on December 1, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The next-gen upgrades for PS5 and Xbox Series X followed exactly five years later, on December 1, 2020.
