The title in question, according to what has been leaked, would have been entrusted to the Firesprite team, one of the many affected by the heavy cut in staff made by Sony for the PlayStation Studios subsidiaries. The cancellation of the Twisted Metal GaaS for PS5 that emerged in the leaks that have bounced around the internet over the last few months, in any case, would have come even before the 'official' approval of the project by Sony's top management, consequently the title would have found in one preliminary development phase.
