Last year, Intel completely stopped working on Cryo Cooling technology for thermoelectric processor cooling. This happened quite suddenly, and the chipmaker did not even provide support for the corresponding 14th generation Core CPU coolers. The Slovenian company EK has now decided to take matters into its own hands. For those who want to “squeeze” every megahertz out of the Raptor Lake-S Refresh CPU, it is ready to offer the EK-Quantum Delta² TEC water block.
Recall that Intel Cryo Cooling technology debuted with 10th generation Core desktop processors. It is a combination of hardware and software for creating thermoelectric cooling systems, that is, it requires the appropriate software to work correctly.
Together with the EK-Quantum Delta² TEC water block, the vendor provides its own software, which has broader support compared to the Intel analogue. Thanks to it, thermoelectric cooling can be used with the latest several generations of Core CPUs, including the Core i5-14600K, Core i7-14700K and Core i9-14900K.
The EK-Quantum Delta² TEC water block is available for pre-order in the EK online store for €481.
