Así es No Rest for the Wicked
No Rest for the Wicked is from the creators of Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, but it's a very different game. The premise of the story is sensational, a great worldbuilding: a medieval fantasy world, year 841, ravaged by a plague that was thought to have been eradicated and corrupts everyone it touches.
The player creates a character who is part of the cerim, a group of mystical warriors with powers who swear to end the pestilence, the plague, whatever the cost… but in between there are political and religious obstacles.
Its combat, similar to Diablo with isometric view, will be very deep, and will also take inspiration from action and fighting games, a lot of collectibles and equipment with modifiers to place…
Moon Studios has made it clear that the game world has been created by hand, and there is nothing procedurally generated. On the other hand, the loot is random, which guarantees replayability whether alone or cooperatively.
When you're not fighting, you can rest in Sacramenta City, where there is a minigame of decorating the house, fishing, farming, cooking, and socializing with other characters.
No Rest for the Wicked It is a much-needed change of direction for Moon Studios, which after the success of the Ori, but the scandals in its studio and its breakup with Microsoft, are seeking to make amends with a game that could be another Palworld, Helldivers 2 or Last Epoch-style sensation.
