This feature film, which seemed extremely promising, was simply canceled and its images risk being erased. The indignation is total!
Unfortunately, Hollywood sometimes makes decisions that not only don't please everyone, but can also be completely unexpected. Recently, an entire film was simply deleted by Warner Bros.
You will never see Coyote vs. Acme
You may have already heard of production: Coyote vs. Acme. This is a feature film which features the character Vile Coyote from Looney Tunes who decides to sue the company ACME, which manufactures defective explosive products, at least according to him. He therefore joins forces with a lawyer who has difficulty realizing the absurdity of the situation, especially when he learns that his former boss now works with the company being sued. A surprising friendship will arise between the two protagonists who do not seem to come from the same world.
This feature film was due to be released last year, and had already received good feedback following a few test screenings. The feature film was well and truly finished and just waiting to see the light of day, offering a modern and hilarious take on Looney Tunes. That was before the announcement from Warner Bros. who simply made the decision to delete the film. In other words, despite the work of the entire technical team, the director, the screenwriter and the actors who were invested in their role (Will Forte and John Cena), the images of this feature film will be deleted and no one will be able to view it . A sad decision which provokes the anger of Internet users, but especially of the people involved in the production of this film.
People involved in this movie are angry at Warner Bros.
This feature film which mixes live action and cartoon will not see the light of day, and unsurprisingly, no one appreciates this decision. The most affected being those who were invested in this project, in particular the actors of the film. It was Will Forte who spoke on X (formerly called Twitter) to share his feelings about this most frustrating situation.. The latter was to play the lawyer who was alongside Coyote.
To the Coyote vs. teams Acme: I know many of you haven't had the chance to see our feature film. Alas, it looks like you'll never see it. When I learned that our film was going to be canceled, I didn't even get a chance to see it. So I said the same thing to everyone: this thing must be some nameless piece of shit. But then I saw it. And he's amazing.
This is not the first time that Warner Bros has done this. The Batgirl movie starring Leslie Grace, JK Simmons, Brendan Fraser and Michael Keaton suffered the exact same fate, as did an animated Scooby-Doo movie. It is a safe bet that little information will be disclosed on the subject. Despite everything, Internet users absolutely want to preserve this film, so that the efforts of everyone involved are not reduced to nothing.
